Updated Visitors Policy Revised 05/01/2021

Effective immediately we will be allowing one support person to attend any prenatal related office visit.

This means the support person may attend both a regularly scheduled prenatal visit as well as any ultrasound visit.  They may remain in the office for the prenatal visit after the ultrasound if they would like.

Thank you so much for your grace while we have navigated through the pandemic.

Covid-19 Vaccines in Pregnancy
Based on recommendations from ACOG, we support and recommend Covid-19 vaccination in pregnancy. Our physicians and staff, currently pregnant and those considering pregnancy, have been vaccinated. Pregnant women should not be denied the opportunity to be vaccinated. However, as with all vaccines, we believe they should not be mandatory for pregnant women; they should have the option to opt out of vaccination if they prefer. We would be happy to discuss your personal situation and the vaccine at your upcoming visit.

COVID-19 UPDATE

Yes, COVID-19 is now in Kentucky. No, we are not panicked. Many patients have been calling in to ask what we know about the virus and pregnancy. We wanted to share information directly from the CDC so we can pass on accurate information.

The only way we will stop COVID-19 is to take the following measures:
-Good handwashing. Soap and water are preferred.
-Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze.
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
-Stay home when you are sick or have a fever.
-Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
-Avoid traveling to countries where COVID-19 is present (Check the CDC's website for a list)
-Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

The CDC has prepared the following questions and answers for COVID-19 and pregnancy as well as travel.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and Pregnancy
