COVID-19 Update 03/24/2020
Effective immediately, Lexington Women’s Health is implementing a no visitors policy in all of our offices. Your family is welcome to participate in your visit via FaceTime or a similar program. If someone must drive you, we understand but please have them wait in the car. This new policy will be in place until the threat of COVID-19 has decreased significantly. In this time we are so happy to be able to offer Telehealth visits. Telehealth is an appointment over your smart phone, tablet or lap top. It's as simple as opening the test and typing your name. The actual appointment works very similar to face time. You will receive the care you need from a provider you trust without leaving your home or office. What that means? If you are pregnant call us as soon as you get a positive pregnancy test! We can offer a tele-health appointment immediately. You do not have to wait until the COVID-19 outbreak dies down for care. We will happily assist you immediately. Also, we recommend that anyone coming in for preventative care, weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, or non-urgent matters will utilize this wonderful and easy service. We will be calling anyone on the schedule to offer them this service but this applies to new patients as well. We encourage our pregnant patients and gynecology patients with urgent needs to continue to be seen. We are fortunate to have locations that are not on the hospital campus and we will be glad to move your appointment to one of those if that makes you feel more comfortable. If you have a fever, cough or other respiratory symptoms, please do not come to our office. Simply call us at 859-264-8811 and we will guide you to the next steps regarding your treatment and care. We are all in this together and we will continue to be here to care and support our patients in every way possible…even if it means via smart phone or tablet. Thank you all so much and feel free to call us if you have any questions or concern. Lexington Women’s Health
