At Lexington Women's Health, our practice is comprised of Obstetrician-Gynecologists, Sarah Borders, M.D., Allison Cook, M.D., Jennifer Fuson, M.D., Grace Gibbs, D.O., Reva Tackett, M.D., and J. Mike Guiler, M.D., Certified Nurse Midwives, Alisha Morgan, C.N.M., Iniko Sallee, C.N.M., Laure Schadler, C.N.M., and Shelley A. Chenault, CNM as well as Ashley Cannady, APRN, Erica Collier, APRN, Sherry Guiler, DNP, and Tori Hollins, APRN. We are also supported by an experienced and well trained staff! We have three convenient Lexington, Kentucky locations to serve you.


Jennifer Fuson, M.D., FACOG

Jennifer Fuson, M.D., FACOG, graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed her residency training at the University of South Carolina. She enjoys helping patients find solutions to problems when conservative measures have not been enough. She has special expertise in minimally invasive gynecology, including DaVinci robotic surgery, and has received the DaVinci Distinguished Surgeon award by Intuitive Surgical. She has been a champion of outpatient minimally invasive hysterectomy and minimizing post-operative pain with enhanced recovery techniques. She has performed thousands of minimally invasive surgeries and enjoys the satisfaction of helping women achieve freedom from excessive pain, bleeding, fibroids, and urinary incontinence.

Grace Gibbs, D.O.

Grace Gibbs, D.O. received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa in 2001. She attended the residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing, Michigan.

After completing training, Dr. Gibbs joined Meridian Women's Health in Okemos, Michigan and has been in private practice since. She enjoys obstetrics and gynecology, providing the full spectrum of women's care. Dr. Gibbs also enjoys minimally invasive surgery including da Vinci robotic surgery.

Dr. Gibbs is also a Colonel in the United States Air Force.

Dr. Gibbs and her husband, Todd, have two sons, one attending college in Michigan, the other in Florida. In her spare time she is an avid golfer and college sports fan.


Reva D. Tackett, MD

Reva D. Tackett, MD is originally from Hueysville, Ky. Dr. Tackett received an Associates of Science degree from Alice Lloyd College in 1974, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky in 1976 and a Medical degree from the University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine in 1981. She has been in private practice since 1985. Dr. Tackett specializes in Gynecology and Gynecologic Surgery. She is an active member of Crossroads Christian Church where she plays keyboard. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her beautiful grandsons.

Sarah Borders, M.D.

Sarah Borders, M.D. is originally from Versailles, Kentucky. She received her Doctor of Medicine Degree in 2012 from the University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine. She completed her Residency program at The Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Borders enjoys obstetrics and gynecology including contraception, management of abnormal pap smears, pelvic pain, abnormal periods and more. One of her favorite parts of practice is providing exceptional, yet personal, prenatal care to her patients. She also has special interest in recurrent pregnancy loss and infertility. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, participating in triathlons, 5K races, 10K races, half-marathons, and the occasional marathon. She also enjoys experimenting with gluten-free baking.


Allison Cook, M.D.

Allison Cook, M.D. is originally from Ashland, Kentucky. She is a proud graduate of Georgetown College and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She performed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Dr. Cook enjoys a full spectrum of OB/GYN care from annual well-woman visits to the management of gynecological disorders, and of course, pregnancy and childbirth. She also has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She has a passion for providing respectful women's health care and values the importance of establishing a trusting provider/patient relationship. She specifically enjoys the relationships she builds with her prenatal patients and families. Outside of the office you may find her spending time with her husband Adam and daughter Lucie and their two miniature dachshunds. She enjoys baking, personal fitness, traveling and of course, cheering for the CATS!

J. Mike Guiler, M.D., FACOG

J. Mike Guiler, M.D., FACOG graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed his residency training at the University of Kentucky as well. Dr. Guiler has extensive experience and expertise in women's health. He has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and is a highly trained surgeon who has achieved the designation of both Surgeon of Excellence and Master Surgeon of Robotics by SRC.

In his free time, he and his wife, Sherry Guiler, DNP are avid "Big Blue" fans and cheer on the CATS at basketball and football games. They love traveling, biking, their Rocky Mountain horses, Rosie and Lucy, their Yorkie, Braxton and of course spending time with family.


Shelley A. Chenault, CNM

Shelley A. Chenault, CNM is native to Lexington, Kentucky but spent most of her early years in Florida. She loved coming to KY each year to visit family and moved back to Kentucky for college in 1991. Shelley graduated with her ADN from Jefferson Community College in Louisville (1994) followed by her BSN from the University of Kentucky (2001).

As a RN, Shelley initially worked in oncology but found her calling in L&D at Baptist Health Lexington in 1999. When her husband Erik joined the US Air Force in 2004 they had to move out of state but Shelley continued to work as a L&D nurse as well as a Childbirth Educator while residing in North Carolina from 2005-2013. In 2013, Shelley graduated with her MSN in Nurse-Midwifery from East Carolina University and soon after graduation, she and her family relocated to Florida where she practiced as a CNM, APRN in a private OB-GYN practice in Safety Harbor.

Shelley has always considered Lexington her home and was excited to have the opportunity to return home and join Lexington Women's Health.

In her spare time Shelley likes to spend time with her family and her pets. She enjoys yoga, riding horses and cheering for the UK Wildcats.

Shelley's primary area of interest is educating and caring for women during pregnancy, labor & delivery and postpartum. She works diligently to create the safest and best pregnancy and birth experience based on the individual woman's needs and desires.

Alisha Morgan, C.N.M. moved to central Kentucky from her hometown of Monticello in 2001. That year she began her career working in a high-risk obstetrical setting as a labor and delivery, post partum and newborn nursery nurse. In 2010, she graduated from the University Of Cincinnati with a Masters Degree in Nurse Midwifery.

Alisha believes that each woman is a unique entity continually evolving along the journey of life. One of her favorite parts of practice is getting to know her clients so that she may provide the most individualized care possible. Her clinical interests include natural childbirth, breast feeding and adolescent care. In her spare time Alisha enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She loves traveling, knitting and attending University of Kentucky basketball games.


Laure Schadler C.N.M.

Laure Schadler C.N.M. was born and raised in a farming family near Owensboro, KY. She received a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Murray State University in 1980. After years of working labor and delivery, she obtained a Masters Degree in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Kentucky in 1993. Prior to joining LWH in 2008, she worked as a nurse midwife in Richmond, KY for over 10 years. She strives to help women achieve optimal health by listening to their needs and concerns, educating them about their bodies and working with them to achieve their goals. Away from work she enjoys spending time with her large family, genealogy, gardening and travel (especially cruises).

Iniko Sallee, CNM, APRN

When Iniko Sallee, CNM joined our practice she already had 17+ years of experience working in labor and delivery at Baptist Health Lexington. She also has years of experience as a childbirth educator! She earned her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier University and is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. She is also a certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse Practitioner. Her special interests include pregnancy care and labor and delivery. She is committed to assisting her families achieve their desired birth experience while maintaining a high standard of safe, quality care, and guidance. She also enjoys working with PCOS, weight loss and general women's health and wellness patients. Iniko, her husband and three wonderful children reside in Jessamine County. In their free time they enjoy traveling (mostly for sports!) being outdoors and simply relaxing.


Ashley Cannady, APRN

Ashley Cannady, APRN graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She started her career working at the University of Kentucky Emergency Department for 4 years as a Registered Nurse. She went back to school for her master's degree at Indiana Wesleyan University. After completion, she obtained a job in Family Practice where she has worked for the last 1.5 years.

Ashley did her rotation for women's health here at Lexington Women's Health. That is when she decided that women's health was the field for her! She found an interest in women's health due to being able to closely relate with the patients. She has expertise in women's health care spanning from annual exams, contraceptive management, pelvic pain, abnormal menstrual periods, weight loss, PCOS and more. She also enjoys working with families who are planning to expand.

Ashley grew up in Brandenburg, KY but after going to school at the University of Kentucky, her and her husband decided to make Lexington home. In her free time Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and children and hosting her friends and family.

Erica Collier, APRN

Erica Collier, APRN received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The University of Kentucky in 2011 followed by her Master of Science in Nursing at Eastern Kentucky University in 2016. She began her nursing career as a labor and delivery nurse at Baptist Health Lexington where she worked for 6 years and truly developed a special interest in caring for women. Since becoming certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has cared for patients in both women's health and gastroenterology. She is excited to return to women's health with some of her interests including annual and preventative exams, contraceptive counseling, pregnancy and weight loss. Erica and her husband live in Jessamine County with their son and golden retriever. In their free time, they love to attend UK games, travel and simply spend time with family and friends.


Sherry Guiler, DNP, APRN

Sherry D. Guiler is a Nurse Practitioner, board certified in Women's Health and has been practicing nursing since 1981. She has previous experience in NICU and Peds ICU at UK Medical Center. She received nursing degrees from the University of Evansville (1981) and University of Kentucky (1985). Later she received her APRN, Masters, and a postgraduate degree in Forensic Nursing at the University of Colorado (2002-2006). In 2011, she received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Robert Morris University.

Sherry has practiced with her husband, Dr. Mike Guiler since 1985. Together they provide individual, personal, and compassionate patient care in a Christian environment. She has extensive experience in all aspects of women's healthcare promoting wellness and prevention with a focus on gynecologic disorders including endometriosis, PCOS, and infertility. Sherry also enjoys providing prenatal care throughout pregnancy in collaboration with delivery providers.

Sherry and Dr. Mike are avid “Big Blue” fans and cheer on the CATS at basketball and football games. They love traveling, biking, their Rocky Mountain horses, Rosie and Lucy, their Yorkie, Braxton and of course spending time with family.

Tori Hollins, APRN

Tori Hollins, APRN graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2015 with her BSN. She went on to further her education at Chamberlain College of Nursing where she received her MSN in 2019. For the last six years Tori has worked at the neonatal intensive care unit at the University of Kentucky. She also has experience working in urgent care as a Nurse Practitioner, where she was able to really broaden her scope of practice.

Tori is passionate about providing excellent patient care through patient education and shared decision-making. She offers comprehensive women's health services ranging from birth control advice and IUD insertion to PCOS, weight loss, STD diagnosis and treatment and more.

When she's not working you can usually find her in the outdoors or traveling with her husband and sweet new baby boy! Of course, she is also an avid UK fan and enjoys cheering on the CATS!
